Home Safety Stories from People Exactly Like You

I have spent a lot of time talking about home security with a lot of homeowners. I am attempting to acquire some insight on the different ways that our homes can be threatened. One of the questions I asked each person was if they had ever experienced any suspicious actions at their house. It could have been robbery, a broken window, a suspicious individual – anything. I was surprised that almost every single person had a story. Most of the stories would lead them to purchase a alarm system. I have learned that LakeForestHomeSecurity.net is one of the best options.

One man said that he had been home for the afternoon, but then left to pick his son up from basketball practice. When he and his son got back about twenty minutes later, one of the windows on their house was shattered and things were missing inside. He seemed to think he had been watched, and the burglar knew once he left the house. A different mother of 3 said that she answered the door for a man who claimed to be a salesperson. After he finished speaking, he asked if he could talk it over with her inside. She declined, and the man again replied by asking if he could at least come inside and use her phone. Since the man was being persistent, she again declined and closed the door in his face.

All of us have had our encounters with suspicious people and situations. Some are worse than others, like that of the first man. The information I am researching helps me figure out what drives people to purchase a home alarm system. The second woman said she elected to get one the very next day.

I have heard a lot of similar stories from other families. You never really know what is going to happen on a given day. I am positive these two people did not wake up assuming something out of the ordinary would happen that day. It really emphasizes the value in always being prepared.
